Dracut – Kathleen R. Giallongo, 63, of Dracut died Friday, September 7, 2012 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, surrounded by her loving family.
Kathleen was the daughter of the late Serafino and Mary Giallongo. She was born in Lawrence, MA on June 24, 1949. She graduated from the Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen. She worked as a tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service in Methuen for over 35 years until her retirement in 2006. In her free time, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Christina M. Kimball and her husband, Brian, of Litchfield, NH; a son, Christopher P. Giallongo and his wife, Kelli, of Dracut; six grandchildren, Anthony, Corey, Leah, Alyssa, Ashlee, and Kaylee; a sister, Barbara Murphy and her husband, Michael, of Hampstead, NH; a brother, Robert Giallongo and his wife, Marcel, of Kingston, NH; and two nephews, Scott and Robert Giallongo.
At the request of the family, all services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
