Alice E. (Boucher) Zaccaro, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully, Friday September 7, 2012 at the age of 95. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Carl Zaccaro. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Delores (Beauregard) Boucher. Alice attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from St. Patrick High School. For many years she worked as a Senior Social Worker for the town of Randolph until her retirement in 1983. Her whole life revolved around her family, and she was especially proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf for many years and was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Alice was the loving mother of Gail Weigold and her husband Herbert “Chick” Weigold of Bridgewater; devoted grandmother of Jill Weigold and her fiancé Loren Giannone of Los Angeles, CA, Daniel Weigold and his wife Sandra of Raynham and Jason Weigold and his wife Kayleena of Berkley. She also leaves three brothers Armand Boucher of Lincoln, NE, Raymond Boucher and Clarence “Sweeney” Boucher both of Bourne and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George, Arthur, Roland and Doris Boucher and Irene Nardi.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday 5-8pm. The funeral procession will form at the funeral home Tuesday at 8am for a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
