Sarah Evelyn (Thompson) Williams
September 11, 1934 to January 7, 2011
Sarah Evelyn Williams, age 76 , former Anderson and Muncie resident, passed away in Kennesaw, Georgia after an extended illness.
Sarah was born September 11, 1934 in Oakwood, Illinois to Dudley and Clara Irene (Rouse) Thompson. She had been an Anderson resident for many years, moving to Georgia in August of 2010.
She was an office manager for Rundell, Ernstberger & Associates in Muncie, IN for many years..
She attended the Church of God & she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by 3 children, Cindy (Jeff) Stamper of Port Charlotte, FL; Doug (Susan) Williams of Atlanta, GA and Amy (Toby) Buck of Anderson. 2 sisters Edith Potts and JoKaren Loeffler and a brother Kenneth Thompson all of IL, 9 grandchildren: Travis (Sarah) Stamper, Megan (Levi) Gillis, Whitney (Austin) Roberson, Bree Williams, Sarah Buck, Rachel Buck, Levi Buck, Makentoch Buck, Malcolm Wilkins, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest L. Williams in 1997, her parents, and a brother Loren Thompson.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 12, at 2:00 P.M. with Chris Mishler officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 12, from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions maybe given to Alzheimer's Research or the Salvation Army.
