Marguerite E. Thiel, 102, of Middletown, IN died at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown on January 25, 2011 following an extended illness.
Marguerite was born on August 3, 1908 in Strawtown, IN to Richard and Nancy Emma (Goode) Stevens.
She worked production 25 years at Delco Remy before retiring in 1968.
She was a member of the Omega Nu Tau Sorority.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Thiel) Favorite of Wilmett, IL, 8 grandchildren: Brenda (Jim) Baker, Elizabeth Green, John (Lynda) Favorite, Lee (Annette) Favorite, Jama Favorite, Ed (Gina) Favorite, David (Kristin) Green, Andrea Kuieck, 17 great grandchildren
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, her 7 siblings, her husband Russell H. Thiel died in June of 1983, daughter, Linda Thiel Green died June 2007, and son-in-law John Favorite died in 2008.
Service will be on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Mick Whistler of Evangelical United Methodist Church, in Union City officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. John's Hospice.
