Patty Jo (Nale) Jones, 57 of Anderson died at her residence on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 following an extended illness.
Patty was born in Connersville, IN on April 23, 1953 to Charles Robert & Ella Oretha (Rice) Nale.
She was a faithful believer and member of Centerville Church of Christ in Centerville, IN.
She was a wonderful and loving wife and mother, a full time homemaker and stay at home mom and home schooled her 3 children through graduation. She loved to cook and bake, catering and party planning, reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel and decorate her home. She enjoyed writing stories and poetry.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years John Jones of Anderson, whom she married February 3, 1973; her father, Charles Nale of Anderson, her 3 children Ella Christina (John) Hollingsworth of Anderson, Andrea Lynn (Stephen) Vaughn of South Shore, KY, John Benjamin Jones of Anderson; grandchildren, Antonia Suzanne Hollingsworth, Augusta Josephine Hollingsworth, Ethan Grant Vaughn, Simon Alexander Vaughn, Addeline Olivia Vaughn; brother, Charles David (Kelly) Nale of Muncie, and her sister, Rachel Ann (Rick) Charles of Anderson, IN
She was preceded in death by her mother Ella O. Nale on November 30, 2008, her brother, Nathan Nale on May 19, 1972, infant daughter Angela Jones on March 24, 1976.
Service will be on Monday, February 21, at 1:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Brother Gary Vaughn of Church of Christ in South Shore, KY officiating.
Burial will be in Mt Summit Cemetery in Mt. Summit IN following the service. Friends may call on Sunday, February 20 from 2-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
