Gary David Ashby, 45 of Anderson died suddenly March 3, 2011 at St. John's Hospital where he worked in the maintenance department.
Gary was born July 25, 1965 in Anderson to David E. & Rita J. (Eshelman) Ashby.
He loved to play golf & bowl. His family and friends lovingly knew him as "G".
Gary is survived by his parents, a sister, Cheryl Fleener of Anderson 2 brothers: Jeff (Michelle) Ashby of Anderson and Chris (Ashley) Patton of Yorktown; nieces and nephews: Nate, Kelsey, Jessica, Joshua, Jeremy, Marisa, Dayne and Kylie, 3 great nieces & 3 great nephews.
Preceded in death by his grandparents: Fred & Madaline Ashby, Joe Eshelman and Jeanne Burk.
Funeral service will be on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating, burial will follow in Bronnenberg Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9 to 11 A.M.
