Dorothy L. Anders, 83, died at the Peabody Home in Franklin NH on Tuesday, May 25, 2004.
She was born July 19, 1920 in Laconia, the daughter of Geremie and Mary (Filion) Lessard and had been a lifelong resident of Laconia and Gilford NH.
Mrs. Anders was an active member of the Laconia Emblem Club for many years and a member of St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include a son, Michael and his wife Stacy Anders of Northfield; a daughter Faye and her husband Tony Hartford of Gilmanton; four grandchildren, Susan Stone and her husband Christopher of Fairfax VA, Karen Anders of Laconia, Tony (T.A.) Hartford and Hilary Hartford, both of Gilmanton; a brother, Roger Lessard of Clearwater FL; three sisters, Rita Fortin and Claire Smith, both of Gilford and Patrice Perry of Iola WI; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of fifty years, Tony in November 1991, her parents, four brothers, two sisters and a great grandson.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the family’s discretion.
