Lawrence E. Tuterow, 88, of Anderson died on May 7, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield following an extended illness.
He was born on November 26, 1922 in Middletown, IN to Logan and Ada (Good) Tuterow.
He served in the US Marine Corp.
He worked as a machinist in the tool room at Delco Remy for 40 years and retired in December 1981.
He was a member of New Hope Christian Church; He loved to camp and square dance.
Survivors include his 3 children, Marlene (Robert) Brooks and Thomas (Marty) Tuterow all of Anderson, Kent (Millie) Tuterow of Sevierville, TN; Brother and 2 sisters, Donald (Janie) Tuterow, Jeanette Day and Sarah Sayford all of Middletown; 9 Grandchildren, Michael (Melanie) Brooks, Todd (Laura) Brooks, Brian (Kim) Brooks, Steven (Meredith Contos-Brooks) Brooks, Ashley Tuterow, Jeremy Tuterow, Stacey (Mike) Guardado, Tracey (Tony) Lawrence, and Lori (Dave) Stironek; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild;
Preceded in death by: Parents, Wife, Wilma (Marley) Tuterow; Daughter, Lois Wood; 1 brother and 1 sister.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Miller's Merry Manor for their special care to Lawrence during his illness.
Services will be on Tuesday at 10:00am at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with John Hannum officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00pm on Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
