James M. "Jim" Tucker
April 5, 1931 to May 22, 2011

James M. "Jim" Tucker, age 80 of Anderson died at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield after an extended illness.

Jim was born in Macon, Georgia on April 5, 1931 to Emmett and Nina (Chapman) Tucker.

He held various positions at Emge Packing for 40 years.

He was a member of Coon Hunter's Club, an avid hunter for many years. He also loved to fish, watch NASCAR, cowboy and western movies and General Hospital on TV.

Jim is survived by his wife, Joan M. (Adams) Tucker of Chesterfield whom he married August 15, 1959 in Frankton, son, Jimmy (Lynn) Tucker of Alabama, special daughter Terri (Ed) Sanders-Smith of Indianapolis, 2 step children Toni (Bill) Roe of Anderson and Kimpy Sanders of Anderson, 3 sisters, Annette (Jay) Phillips of Anderson, Peggy (Chet) Mullins of Ft. Wayne and Jackie Carter of Fairmount; 4 grandchildren Dr. Jimmy (Jacy) Tucker, Dawn (Chris) Hines, Lance Tucker and Kris Roe, 3 great grandchildren Isabella, Willow and Aubrey; several nieces and nephews.

A Special thank you to Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield and all of his neighbors on Webster Street for all of their loving care and Support.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his son Danny Tucker, brother William Tucker, sisters Louise Watson, Christine Smith and Mildred Crull.

There will be no public visitation.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. with Richard Harvey officiating with burial in Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield.

Memorial contributions may be given to Miller's Merry Manor Activities Fund in Chesterfield.
