Alvin Lee "AJ" Fridley
February 12, 1935 - May 28, 2011

Alvin Lee "AJ" Fridley, 76, of Anderson died at St. John's Hospital after an extended illness.

AJ was born in Middletown, IN on February 12, 1935 to Lloyd and Janie (Lewis) Fridley.

He served in the US Army.

He was route delivery milkman for more than 20 years.

He is survived by his 4 children: Carl Fridley, Lee (Shelley) Fridley, Jill Fridley, Amanda (Marvin) Vittetoe; 4 brothers: Stephen Fridley, Claude Fridley, Joe (Ella Mae) Fridley, Louis Fridley and his sister Virginia Sample; grandchildren: Stephen (Tami) Fridley, Brandy (Jeremy) Wilber, Justin Fridley, Josh Noble, Michael (Jessica) Noble, Dana Fridley and Karley Fridley; 10 great grandchildren: Noe Rodriguez, Eric Garcia, Jerica Wilber, Jalissa Wilber, Amiyah Chapin, Arayah Chapin, Mackenzie Fridley, Madison Shelley, Isabella Shelley and Alexis Noble and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Jane (Schafer) Fridley, his parents; 3 brothers, Verle, Bob and Max Fridley; 3 sisters-in-law: Grace, Myra, and Ruth Fridley; 2 grandchildren: Myranda and Heather Fridley.

Services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Elder Bobby Whitt of Church of God International officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, June 2 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
