Robert Lewis Gray, 83, of Anderson, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Countryside Manor in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on September 30, 1927 in Anderson, the son of Clifford and Edna Gray. He was a tool and die maker with Delco Remy for 43 year. He was a member of South Meridian Church of God, NRA, Local 662, and Fall Creek Gun Club.
Survivors include 4 Children,Daniel Dean Gray (wife Jackie) of Anderson, Peggy Bentley (husband Kevin)of Madison, CT, Paula Romdall (husband Alan) of Anderson, and Brian Gray (wife Margie) of Anderson; Grandchildren, Nathan Gray, Timothy Gray, Kheled Bentley, Lorien Bentley, Edain Bentley, Christina Gray, Dylan Gray; Great Grandchildren, Kayleigh Bentley, Kiel Bentley, Presley Gray, and Jolie Gray; his 2 brothers: Keith Gray (wife Juanita)of Alexandria and Myron "Dean" Gray of La Mesa, CA; also 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Jean Gray in 2009.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service
Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Tuesday.
Cremation will take place with burial of ashes at a later date at Anderson Memorial Park
Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice.
