Dorothy Robinette Rigney, 84 passed away May 29, 2011 from conjestive heart failure. She was born on April 22, 1927 in Anderson. She loved walking and spending time with the ones she loved. She was an avid race fan of Terry Malone Jr, Ronnie Rose, Shawn Cullen, Curtis Chapman, Josh Poore, and Herb Rose. She was married to Bobby K. Rigney for 59 years. He preceded her in death in 2001.
She was the mother of 3 daughters, Peggy McClelland, who preceded her in death in 2010, Brenda Willis (husband Joe) and Kay Fowler (husband David) and sons, Tom Rigney, Jerry Rigney (girlfriend Charlotte Rose) She had 12 grandchildren, Robbie Fetty, Tranda Brown, Tammy DieFenbach, Tim Bowen, Bobby Bowen, Terry Malone Jr., Joni Malone, John Malone, Shontel McGuire, April Rigney, Joey Burdge, Brittley Pitts, and Jason Pitts. She had 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, Emiley Rose Apricio Sheilds. She had 2 wonderful daughters, Linda Vandyn and Renea Moto. She had very special friends, Rhonda Cullen, Lori McClelland,
She was loved dearly and she will be missed. R.I.P.
Services will be on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11 Am at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. George Clark
officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
