Laura E. Oliver, 97 Anderson passed away May 29, at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Center, after a brief illness.
She was born October 25, 1913 in Anderson and lived here all her life.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Fonce DeShong, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren most of whom live out of state.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Center.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Doralene Austin, her first husband Elvin DeShong, her second husband Hubert Oliver, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Smith, 2 grandsons, Kevin DeShong and Tracy DeShong.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Paul Reeder officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 AM until the funeral.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Center.
