Thelma Jean (Boaz) Fisher
January 23, 1933- June 2, 2011

Thelma Jean (Boaz) Fisher, 78, of Chesterfield died on June 2, 2011 following an extended illness.

She was born on January 23, 1933 in Lapel, IN to Edgar and Dorothy (Day) Boaz.

She was a homemaker and had also worked at Grey Drugs for several years.

She was a member of Mounds Baptist Church, Daleville Order of Eastern Star #568, 8 & 40 Solon #153, American Legion Auxiliary #408, and AMVETS Auxiliary #332. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved her family more than anything.

She married her husband, Leo L. Fisher in Anderson on October 26, 1956. They were lifelong residents of Chesterfield.

She is Survived by her daughter, Dottie (Jeff) Crosley of Chesterfield and a son, Stephen Fisher of Chesterfield; 3 grandchildren, Leslie (Greg) Clark of Alexandria, Tobi (Francisco) Padron of Fishers, and Tim Fisher of Anderson; 5 Great-Grandchildren, Jacob, Dylan, Allie, Riley and Claire, Brother-in-law, Merle Hutton of Anderson; Several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Leo L. Fisher died on April 1, 2009; Sister, Lillian Hutton died July 2009.

Her funeral service will be on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2:30pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Cliff Richardson officiating. The burial will take place in Bronnenberg Cemetery in Chesterfield.
The visitation will be from 12:30-2:30pm Monday, June 6, 2011 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Lung Association or The Hopewell Center in Anderson.
