Robert C. Webb, 96, of Anderson, died at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Ft. Wayne, Indiana following a 6 month illness. He was born October 29, 1914 in Arcadia, Indiana to Clifford and Grace E. (Hall) Webb. He retired in 1974 from Delco Remy after 43 years of service. He was a general foreman in Plant 11. He was a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #77, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, and the Murat Shrine, all for over 50 years. He was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed basketball, football and hockey.
Survivors include his 2 Children: Ken (Karen) Webb of Ft. Wayne, and Nona (Jeff) Pardue of Franklin, IN. 7 Grandchildren: Ryan(Amy) Webb, Shara Haggan, Brett (Bridgette) Webb, Kyle (Jen) Webb, Kelli (Jason) Dunn, Melissa (Chip) Carnes, Neal (Julie) Graham; 6 great grandchildren: Austin, Haylee, Julian, Evan, Colin, Sean.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Leona V. (Bess) Webb, who died on June 12, 2009,4 brothers, and his parents.
Services will be on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11:00 Am, at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service. The service will be officiated by Pastor John Hackney.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, with Masonic memorial services by Mt. Moriah Lodge conducted at 7:30 PM. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Ft. Wayne, 5910 Homestead Road, Ft. Wayne, or the American Cancer Society.
