Howard Gale Webb
March 21, 1914- June 25, 2011

Howard Gale Webb, 97, of Anderson died on June 25, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born on March 21, 1914 in Anderson, Indiana to Rev. Charles L. and Dora (Moneyhun) Webb.
He served from 1943-1945 in the United States Army Signal Core.

He owned Howard Webb Insurance and Real Estate Agency for 55 years.

He was a member of the New Horizons United Methodist Church, Anderson Noon Kiwanis Club, and the Masonic Lodge. He was one of the founding members of Crime Stoppers and The Salvation Army. He was past president of the Anderson Chamber of Commerce and served as board of directors for Star Financial Bank. He loved to travel the world and was a founding member of the Ambassadair Travel Club.

Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Ruby (Rector) Webb of Anderson; 2 daughters, Judith Ann (Kendall) Zinszer and Arlene (Ralph) Ellingwood all of Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Monica Zinszer (Scott) Hickman of Marietta, GA, Aaron (Janimel) Bundy of Indianapolis, Aarik Bundy and Brock (Heather) Bundy all of Anderson, Kristofer Zinszer of Indianapolis, Andy Ellingwood, Scott Ellingwood and Stacy Ellingwood all of Anderson; 6 great-grandchildren, Kendall Hickman, Chase Hickman, Ava Bundy, Max Bundy, Cody Ellingwood and Huston Ellingwood; 3 sisters-in-law, Becky Rector, Dorothy Webb, and Helen Webb all of Anderson; Several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Dr. Harry Webb; brother, Harold Webb; and Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Louis and Hazel Rector.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00am on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Larry Smith officiating. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Salvation Army, The Christian Center, or New Horizon United Methodist Church.
