L.S. Earl Jarrell

L.S. Earl Jarrell, 93, of Anderson died on June 25, 2011 at Meadowbrooke Rehab and Suites.
He was born on December 17, 1917 in Walters, Oklahoma to William E. and Viola Mae (Windel) Jarrell.
He was a sergeant in the US Army during World War II and was stationed in Japan.
He was an inspector for Delco Remy in Plant 16 for 40 years and retired in 1982.
He was a member of South Meridian Church of God. He enjoyed traveling, loved his dogs and carpenter work.
Survivors include his daughter, Dawn (husband, Jim) Arthur of Anderson; 3 grandchildren, Troy Jarrell, Kenton Rainwater, and Kelsea Rainwater; 2 great-grandchildren, Makaleigh Dawn L.S. Landaker and Savannah Jarrell; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: his parents, wife, Marjorie H. Jarrell; Son, Doyle Jarrell; Sisters, Leola Mae Jarrell, Dorothy Spencer, Wanda Parker, Gracie Lee Coffee, and Bernice Tull; brothers, Joe Jarrell and Bert Jarrell.
Services will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Marvin Baker officiating. The burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Elwood with military graveside rites being conducted by the VFW Honor Guard Post 266.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 4:00-7:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
