HODAKOWSKI, Lydia (Hovakimian), age 90 passed away peacefully on September 4, 2012 in Boston. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wladyslaw. Devoted mother of children Marta, Robert and George and grandchildren Julie, Peter, Alex, Caroline and Kathyrn. Raised in Tehran, Iran, she was wed in London, England and emigrated to Detroit, Michigan in 1953 after the birth of her first two children. Member of St. John’s Armenian Church. Relocated to Boston in 2003. Her devotion to family and faith were always on display. Donations in lieu of flowers gratefully accepted by Armenian General Benevolent Union and Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Funeral services will be held on Friday,September 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 145 Brattle Street,Cambridge, MA.
