Hudson, MA
Antonia Mary (Kerdok) Kotarski, age 96 years, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham, MA where she has been a resident for the past 16 months. She was the beloved husband of Stanley Kotarski who passed away in 1988.
She was born in Binghamton, NY, daughter of Michael and Delia (Vadvil) Kerdok. She was raised in Hudson, where she attended local schools and was the last surviving member of the Class of 1934 of St. Michael’s Academy.
She was employed at Thomas Taylor & Sons for 42 years as a secretary and government inspector. She was the oldest living resident in Hudson of Lithuanian descent. She was a true homemaker, who loved gardening and doing all sorts of handiwork. She was a member of the former Christ King Parish and a member of St. Michael Church in Hudson.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Hildreth and her husband Stephen of Hudson; her grandchildren, Michael Hildreth and his wife Holly of South Bend, IN, John Hildreth and his wife Joanne of Beverly, MA, James Verrier of New York City, NY, and Susan LaPalme and her husband Edward of Manchester, NH; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua and James Hildreth and Aine and Eamon LaPalme; her son-in-law Edward Verrier of Clinton, MA.; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her daughter, Katherine Verrier and her brothers, Anthony and John Kerdok.
Her family would like to thank everyone at St. Patrick’s Manor, particularly the staff of B2 for the devotion and loving care afforded to her while she resided there and especially during her last days. We are so grateful! God bless them!
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Saturday, Sept. 8th from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral mass on Saturday, Sept. 8th at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson.
