TROTT, William J. age 80 of Teaneck, NJ formerly of New York, NY died Monday September 3, 2012. Beloved husband of Teresa (nee Rodriguez). Devoted father of William David Trott and Paul Douglas Trott. Loving grandfather of William Hunter Trott, Adam Vaughn Trott, Tiffany Trott, Paul James Trott, Ali Hayes, Malikah Street, Tovasha Hayes and Tovondra Hayes. Bill was a Command Sergeant Major in the National Guard for over 40 years, proudly serving in Korea and Operation Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. As a civilian, he was the Head Reference Librarian at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City. Friends and relatives are invited to visit on Friday 6-9 PM and Saturday 10-12 PM, with a funeral service at 11 AM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck NJ. Cremation will be private.
