Margaret F. Magnuson, 90, of Peabody Rd., Derry, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at the Integrated Health Services of Derry. She was born in Cambridge, Mass. on May 13, 1911. She was a resident of Derry for the past year, formerly living on North Pond Rd. in Chester for many years. She had been employed for Pinkerton Academy in Derry for several years. She was the widow of Thurston L. Magnuson who died in 1988. Mrs. Magnuson enjoyed animals and feeding the birds and squirrels.
She is survived by one son, Thomas J. Vento of Tarpon Springs, FL, two grandchildren, Thomas Vento of New Port Richey, FL, Thomas Cypher of Maine, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry on Saturday, March 2nd from 1:00 – 3:00. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 in the funeral home. The burial will be in the spring in the Great Hill Cemetery in Chester.
