Margaret B. Jackson, 96, of Anderson died on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield.
She was born on September 16, 1915 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Curt and Inez (Palmer) McCool.
She was employed at Bair Brand Hosiery Mill in Henderson, Kentucky for many years. She moved to Anderson in 1978. She was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Charles) Adams of Anderson, her 9 grandchildren: Pat (Phil) Storm, Cindy (J.D.) Traylor, Pam Stafford, Marilyn (Ron) Roehr, Carolyn (Danny) Glover, Vickie Duke, Ricky (Lori) Deckard, Donna (R.B.) Givens and Margaret Ann (Ronald) Hunt; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. 1 sister, Marcella Skaggs of Sumner, IL and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Allene Sheets and her 1st husband William Thomas Wirth and her 2nd husband Emery Jackson.
Her services will be on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastors Brad Storm, J.D. Traylor and Paul Storm. Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
