C.B. Rich, 79, of Anderson died October 29, 2011 at St. John's Health System following a brief illness.
C.B. was born July 5, 1932 in Clay County, Tennessee to Archie T. & Vela (Davis) Rich.
He graduated from High School in Salina, TN
He worked production at Delco Remy for 30 1/2 years before retiring in 1985.
He is survived by his wife Della Louise (Upton) Rich of Anderson whom he married in Livingston, TN on April 3, 1954; 3 children: Michael (Anita) Rich of Summerdale, AL; Casey (Joan) Rich of Fuqua Varina, NC; Cynthia Rich of Houston, TX; brother Jerry (Sarah) Rich of Anderson; 3 grandchildren Carey (Jeremy) Miller; Kelly (Paul) Carr and Jamie Foreman; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ron Branham of Lake Street Church officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery with military graveside rites by VFW Post 266 Honor Guard. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Lake Street Church.
