Josephine "Jo" (Clark) Funk, 80, of Chesterfield passed away on December 2, 2011 at St. John's Health System with her family by her side following an extended illness.
She was born on October 20, 1931 in Owen County, IN to Luther and Evelyn Clark.
She was a resident of Chesterfield since the 1950's.
She retired from Guide Lamp on August 1, 1998.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 408. She was a very dedicated and loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her 10 children, Wilbur "Will" Funk of Oklahoma, Mitchell (Andrea) Funk of Pendleton, Dennis Funk of Huntington, IN, James (companion, Paula) Funk of Anderson, Danny (Brenda) Funk of Lebanon, IN, Jeff (Carol) Funk of Anderson, Bruce (Barb) Funk of Anderson, Tim Funk of Chesterfield, Carla (Bobby) Levell of Chesterfield, and Steve (Lisa) Funk of Michigan; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbur "Willie" Funk on Oct. 25, 2011, granddaughter, Jaima Funk; daughter-in-law, Kathy Funk; 9 siblings, and a special companion, Sabrina.
Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 1:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2011 at the funeral home.
