Roberta Christina "Tina" Brooks Peters, 40, of Anderson, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at St. John's Hospital in Anderson following a 12 year battle with cancer.
She was born on June 25, 1971 in Grand Forks, ND. She graduated from Madison Heights High School, and had worked as a waitress at Lucy's Diner for 16 years, and also at Jimbo's Pub and Club for 7 years. She enjoyed NASCAR, Tony Stewart, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her partner, Tom Robinett, her mother, Roberta Brooks (Dora Baldwin), her father and step mother, Ray and Terry Brooks. 2 Brothers, Michael R. (Terri) Brooks, Nicholas Z. (Jacqui) Brooks, 2 Sisters, Amy R. (Rick) Petty, and Desiree Brooks (Kyle). a daughter, Ashley L.A. Harrington (Patrick Bennett), a son, Jacob D. Peters (Kristen Ivy). 3 Stepchildren: Cory and Logan Peters and Jessica Clemons. 6 Grandchildren: Aubrey and Carter W. Bennett, Brayden, Mason, and Caleb Peters, and Ashlynn Clemons. Paternal Grandmother, Lois Ann Austin. Several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends
Preceded in death by Maternal grandparents, Robert W. Aldridge, and Annadell J. Chapman Lee. Paternal Grandfather, Jay Gardner.
Services will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at the Richland Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-3 pm prior to the service.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the family to assist with the funeral expenses. Donation may be made at the funeral home.
