Wayne O. Tooley, age 83 of Anderson died at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born August 15, 1928 in Anderson, IN to Ralph and Norma (Craig) Tooley.
He worked production at Anaconda Wire and Cable for 30 years before retiring in 1974.
He was a member of Full Gospel Temple of Muncie, IN.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy R. (Harmon) Tooley of Anderson whom he married January 15, 1949 in Anderson, 3 sons: Timothy W. (Stephanie) Tooley of Pendleton, IN; Toby Lee Tooley of Anderson and John A. Tooley of Anderson, 2 sisters, Mary Jane Austin of Alabama and Betty Sue Jackson of Anderson; 2 granddaughters; a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and a sister.
Services will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Danny Helton of Full Gospel Temple officiating. Burial in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
The visitation will be on Thursday, from 12 until 2 P.M.
