Obituary

Manchester– Lucienne “Lu” Roberge, 79, died September 3, 2012 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester the daughter of Alfred and Cora (Martel) Fortier and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
She was the loving wife of Raymond E. Roberge who died on November 5, 2005. She was also predeceased by a brother, Robert Fortier.
She held membership in the Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary, and often worked in their fundraising efforts. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, playing cards and bingo. She loved traveling to Foxwoods where she was usually very lucky playing slots.
Members of her family include three sons; Ronald Roberge and his wife Constance of Bedford, Roland Roberge and his wife Joyce of Manchester, Rock Roberge and his wife Kristen of Manchester, two daughters; Diane Pouliot and her husband David, Carol Mooney and her husband Sam both of GA., eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two brothers; Herve Fortier and Norm Fortier both of Manchester, three sisters; Doris Champagne, Simonne Larochelle and Terry Grenier all of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours.
Services: A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
