Obituary

Harry W. Romsey, 90, of Franklin died September 4 in the Harrington House in Walpole.
Born in Somerville, July 22, 1922, the son of the late Harry A. and Mina (Weatherbee) Romsey, Mr. Romsey was raised in Newton and had lived in Freehold, New Jersey for many years prior to moving to Franklin 4 years ago.
Mr.Romsey was a graduate of Newton North High School and Northeastern University.L
Mr. Romsey had been a salesman for the Elgin Chemical Company for many years before retiring.
Mr. Romsey served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a member of the American Legion, the V.F.W. and the D.A.V.
Harry loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Harry R. Romsey and his wife Carolyn of Plainville, Dana S. Romsey of Georgia and Linda Catalino and her husband Tony of Greenfield, New Hampshire.
He was the father of the late Frederick Romsey.
He is also survived by his sister Charlotte White of Wellesley.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Friday September 7 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. in Franklin at Noon.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
