Arthur Lewis Robb, Sr., passed away September 3, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East.
A retired Industrial Arts teacher for the Jefferson County Public Schools, Arthur was a founding member of the KY Railway Museum, Outstanding Teacher of the Year 1972, and Vice President of the American Industrial Arts Association and 32nd Degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Wanda D. Elliott; daughter, Laura D. Stewart (Ron) of Lexington, KY; son, Arthur L. Robb, Jr. (Debbie) of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Matthew Stewart, Nathaniel Robb and Jenna Binion.
Funeral service will be 10 am, Saturday, September 8, 2012 at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 3515 Grandview Avenue, Louisville, KY. Visitation will be 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Friday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd.
Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthews Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
