Miss Nancy E. Rogers, 80, died Friday, August 31, 2012 following a lengthy illness.
Born in Beverly on Apr. 29, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Landers) Rogers. She a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1950, and the Salem Commercial School.
A resident of Maryland for 31 years, Miss Rogers was employed as a government secretary, working for the U.S. Air Force, the National Institute for Health, and the U.S. Energy Dept.
She had resident in Danvers for more than twenty years, and had been a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church.
She is survived by three nephews, Brian and MaryJo Rogers of Maryland, Steven and Nancy Rogers of Danvers, and Charles and Kathy Rogers of Pennsylvania.
As requested, funeral services are private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Miss Roger’s name may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
