Henry J. Rochon
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, August 31, 2012, Mr. Henry J. Rochon, 89, husband of Mrs. Marcelle A. Schelling Rochon.
Mr. Rochon was born in Lawrence, MA and resided in Augusta since 1964. He retired from the U.S. Army as Sgt. First Class. Mr. Rochon also retired from the Dept. of Human Resources at Georgia Regional Hospital as a food service director. He was a member of St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic Church. Mr. Rochon was a member of ELKS Lodge 205 BPOE, American Legion Post 205, and Patrick Walsh Council #677 Knights of Columbus 4th degree.
Family members in addition to his wife include: daughter: Susan L. Rochon of Augusta; son: Donald H. Rochon (Maria) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.; two grandchildren: Yvette M. Brown (William) and David D. Rochon of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.; great granddaughter: Sophia Rose Brown.
A funeral mass will be Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary on-the-Hill Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Ragan celebrant. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
