Joseph E. Rudy, Jr. age 53 of Canton passed away August 31st at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Boston, he was raised in Avon and attended Cardinal Spellman High School. He has lived in Canton for the last 19 years and worked as a warehouseman for Shaws Supermarket for 22 years. Beloved husband of Cynthia A. (Sykes). Father of Joseph E. III, Emily A. & Justin D. Rudy all of Canton. Loving son of Joseph E. Sr. & Catherine (McGowan) Rudy of Avon. Brother of Laura Connor of Hull and the late Michael Rudy. Son in law of Charles “Sonny” & Vivian Sykes of Canton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30.
