Martha Marie Mahan Ausley

Martha Marie (Bunner) Mahan Ausley, 88, of Anderson, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson.
She was born on August 24, 1923 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Fred and Florence (Mauck) Bunner. She was an area resident most of her life. She was employed by Lampco Federal Credit Union and retired from there after 20 years of employment. She attended Anderson High School and Indiana Business School. She was a charter member of the Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield. Her hobby was making comforters and blankets for numerous people as gifts and she also enjoyed the beauty of flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Mahan Stewart (husband Murry) of Anderson, brothers, Robert (wife Betty) Hunter, Jim (wife Judy) Hunter all of Tennessee and son-in-law Floyd Jackson of Oklahoma, sisters, Margaret Stofflet and Bonnie Baker both of Anderson, and sister, Marilyn Gallimore of Georgia, and brother, Jay Mier of Chesterfield. 4 Grandchildren: Joseph Stewart IV of Lafayette, David Stewart of Georgia, Becky Lucas of Oklahoma and Scott Hayes of Indiana. 6 great grandchildren: Joseph Stewart V, Ben Stewart, Lauren Stewart, Austin Stewart, Samantha Jackson, and Dakota Jackson, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Lewis Mahan and William Ausley, 2 daughters Nancy Mahan Jackson and Patty Ausley Hayes; and a son-in-law Mike Hayes and 2 great grandchildren, Matthew Stewart and Ben Jackson.
Services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Parkview Wesleyan Church in Chesterfield, officiated by Rev. Paul Trent.
Burial will follow in the Bronnenberg Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church. .
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Parkview Wesleyan Church in lieu of flowers.
