Edward H. McDonough Jr., age 65, of Seabrook, NH formerly of Woburn, passed away suddenly May 23rd. He was the beloved husband of Dale (Eramo) for 22 years. Born in Woburn he was the son of the late Ethel (Cahill) and Edward H. McDonough Sr.
Edward was a member of the Woburn High School graduating class of 1956. Upon graduation Edward proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during the vietnam war from 1957 - 1960. Edward also attended Norwich University and North Eastern University where he studied business and finances. He has worked for over forty years as a stock broker and financial advisor. He was a member of Woburn´s Irish American Club and was a proud member of the NRA. He loved animals, going to the beach, boating, horse racing and casinos. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Edward´s memory to the M.S.P.C.A. 350 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
In addition to his beloved wife Dale, he is survived by two sons, E. Harold “Harry” McDonough III of Woburn and Geoffrey McDonough and his wife Elizabeth of Lowell. He is also survived by his loving grandson Sean Thomas McDonough.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Thursday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main St. Woburn, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Interment will be private.
