Larry Jackson
January 30, 1947 to January 23, 2012
Larry Jackson, 64, of Anderson left our world for the next on January 23, 2012 after a short but brave battle with cancer.
He was born on January 30, 1947 in Anderson to William Lewis and Lily (Longmore) Jackson. In 1965, he graduated from Madison Heights High School then in 1970 he received his degree from Indiana University and soon after began his life long career as an insurance broker. He married Janet Lee Herche on October 18, 1975.
Larry loved spending time with his family, chatting with friends, and playing with his cats. He enjoyed studying history, watching sporting events, listening to music and vacationing at Lake Michigan. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years Janet L. (Herche) Jackson of Anderson, his daughter Molly L. (Jackson) Aldridge (significant other Travis R. Harris), his son Brendan L. Jackson; his parents William L. and Lily Jackson all of Anderson, his sister Laurie R. Jackson Gregory (significant other Martin James), as well as many friends, relatives and 3 family cats.
The visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
A private funeral ceremony will take place.
Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children.
