Steve Allen Hobbs, age 56 of Anderson died at Community Hospital following a brief illness.
Steve was born July 27, 1955 in Russell Springs, Kentucky to Glenn E. and Louise (Johnson) Hobbs.
He was self employed working various jobs. He was a fan of Harley Davidson.
He was a member of North Anderson Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his mother and Louise Hobbs and father Glenn E. (Sharon) Hobbs of Anderson; sisters Theresa Meadows and Lisa (David) Killebrew of Henderson, NV; nieces and nephews: Tina (Greg) Madron; Brad Meadows, Brandon Meadows, Miles Killebrew and Kailani Killebrew; great niece Abigail Madron; many aunts and uncles and cousins and a special friend Rev. Eddie Purciful.
Preceded in death by his special brother-in-law Rick Meadows and special nephew Johnnie Gill III.
Services will be Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Eddie Purciful of North Anderson Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
The visitation will be on Thursday, February 23 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the family to offset expenses.
