Jackie Conn Retter, 73 of Anderson went to be with the Lord February 25, 2012 at Community Hospital.
Jackie was born February 19, 1939 in Muncie, IN to Allen R. and Iva (Ring) Retter.
Jackie was an engineer for 28 years at Delco Remy before retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Bethany Christian Church.
He served in the Indiana National Guard for 8 years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Judith (Wilson) Retter of Anderson whom he married October 3, 1958; 3 children: Jill (Dan) Burton; Jack (Jenny) Retter; Jacquelyn Retter; 5 grandchildren: Kayleigh (Joe) Honeycutt; Savanah, Dakota; Jennifer; Daniel; 8 great grandchildren; Rick and several other nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles Retter.
Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, March 1 at 1:00 P.M. at Bethany Christian Church with Bob Bell and Dick True officiating.
Cremation took place.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Christian Church or Liberty Christian School.
