Harriet E. (Showers) Reynolds, age 87 of Anderson, died at her residence March 5, 2012 after a brief illness.
Harriet was born November 25, 1924 in Turbotville, Pennsylvania to Kelly E. and Bertha E. (Egli) Showers.
She was a homemaker.
She attended Madison Park Church of God.
She is survived by her 4 children: Thomas K. Reynolds of Elkhart; Patricia A. (Rod) Rogers of Anderson; Elizabeth K. Reynolds of Columbia City; Barbara E. (Tom) Shanahan of West Carrollton, OH; brother Kelly A. Showers of Gilbertsville, PA; and her sister Margaret E. Russell of Allenwood, PA; sister-in-law Anna Showers of Watsontown, PA; 8 grandchildren Brian Reynolds; Stephanie Sangatanan; Matthew Whitesel; Kristen Morgan; Katie Rector; Emily Shanahan; Krista Robinette and Kim Rogers-Hatfield; 6 great grandchildren Shelly Flanders, Tammy Reynolds; Maxwell Morgan, Trevor & Austin Robinette and Asher Sangatanan and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Reynolds whom she married September 4, 1949 in Milton, PA died June 25, 2008; her 3 brothers Kimber, George and Jay Archie Showers.
Services will be Noon on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Mike Schwartz of Madison Park Church of God officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
The visitation will be on Thursday, March 8 from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
