Virginia M. (Leffingwell) Rozelle

Virginia M. Rozelle, 96, of Anderson, IN died March 8, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor after an extended illness.
She was born March 4, 1916 in Anderson to Lawrence and Cora (Vance) Leffingwell where she graduated from Anderson High School in 1933.
She was a homemaker and worked for the Anderson Community Schools in the cafeteria for several years before becoming an LPN and working for St. John's for 12 years.
She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church; OES # 154; she enjoyed Euchre, Bridge, knitting, crocheting, reading and traveling.
She is survived by her 2 daughters Virginia (husband John) Ketchem and Rosemary Ballinger (husband Jim Banner) all of Anderson; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vernon Rozelle in 1975; 3 children Robert Rozelle; Jacquelyn Buell and Thomas Rozelle; brother Lawrence Leffingwell.
Services will be Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Dennis Zirkle of Meadowbrook Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
The visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
