Ronald J. Walker, Sr., of Anderson, IN died at Tri County Golf Course in Middletown on Friday, March 16, 2012.
He was born June 30, 1947 in New Castle, IN to Paul and Marjorie (Trimble) Walker, who preceded him.
He graduated from Knightstown High School in 1965.
He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War.
He retired from Guide Lamp after 32 years as a tool & die maker and worked at H.D. P. for 6 years after retirement.
Ron enjoyed 64 years of life. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed restoring old cars. Ron was an artist, liked singing and playing the guitar. Traveling was his passion.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Debra (Barr) Walker of Anderson; 3 children: Ronald Walker, Jr. of Greenfield; Steve Walker of Speedway; Amber (Derrick) Nuffer of Greenfield; step daughter Mary Ann Boone of Anderson; sister Barbara Smith of Rushville, IN; 4 grandchildren Riley, Reis, Laney and MacKayla; nephew Tim Walker and a niece Tina Steffey.
Services will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with visitation two hours prior to the service.
Cremation will take place.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Riley Hospital for Children or the Madison County Humane Society.
He will be missed by his family, friends, and fellow classmates of Knightstown High School 1965.
