John R. Hulse

John R. Hulse, age 69 , of Anderson died at St. John's Hospital on April 26, 2012 following an extended illness.
John was born December 9, 1942 in Anderson, IN to Russell J. and Ruth Frances (Sisson) Hulse.
He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1961 and Ball State University in 1982.
He served in the US Navy.
He was Senior Project Engineer at Delco Remy for 36 years before retiring in December of 1998.
He was a member of Fellowship Masonic Lodge # 681; Murat Shrine Club; Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite. He was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanities; Mounds State Park and a member of Friends of Mounds State Park.
He is survived by his wife of 47years, Nancy Jo (Brubaker) Hulse of Anderson whom he married April 10, 1965; his son: Andrew J. (Gay) Hulse of Elk River, MN; 2 granddaughters Bridgette, Danielle and Savannah Elizabeth Hulse of Elk River, MN; his brother, Jack (Randa) Hulse of Sarasota, FL; mother-in-law Helen Roof of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Daniel Scott Hulse in 1986.
Services will be on Friday, May 4 at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Wayne Sellers of Chesterfield Community Church of God and Pastor Bryan Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
The visitation will be on Thursday, May 3 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be given to Chesterfield Community Church of God, Christian Center or Habitat for Humanity.
