Ronald Eugene Neeley, age 51 of Chandler, AZ passed away on Tuesday, May 8th on Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands. Cause of death is unknown at this time. Ron was born in Heidelberg, Germany, October 9, 1960, son of Bonnie and Gene Neeley. He married Lisa Denson in Clearwater, FL in 1991. Ron graduated from Troy State University, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. Ron served over 22 years in the US Army and retired with rank of MSG in 2003. Among his many awards and accomplishments, Ron was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Neeley, Chandler, AZ, his mother, Bonnie Klein (Allen), Burdett, KS; brothers James Neeley, Sr. (Irina), Brigham City, UT, Clarence Neeley (Cori) Cathlamet, WA; uncles and aunts, Jerry and Carol Neeley of Chesterfield, IN, Jack (Teddy) Neeley, Robertsville, AL and Ed Neeley, Port Richey, FL; nephews and nieces, James Neeley, Jr., Hampton, VA, Jason Neeley, St. Augustine, FL, Anthony Neeley, Tremonton, UT, Clay Neeley, Marion, OH, Chance Neeley, Bucryus, OH, Kayla, Cameron and Kelsie Neeley of Cathlamet, WA; cousins William Neeley, Stevensville, MI, Cary Neeley, Indianapolis, IN, Joey Neeley, Chesterfield, IN, Chris and Darrin Badger, Chesterfield, IN, Josh Badger, Middletown, IN, and Jeff Badger, New Bern, NC. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Gene Raymond Neeley in 1994 and his grandparents, Ray and Ola (Wise) Badger, Ray and Ethel (Girt) Neeley and aunt Sherry (Neeley) Oakes.
