James Michael "Jimmy" Overby, age 27 of Anderson died unexpectedly at his residence on May 9, 2012.
He was born January 2, 1985 in Meridian, MS to Michael E. and Judith "Judy" (Neal) Overby.
He graduated from Anderson High School.
He liked to garden, country music, wrestling, collected angels. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents; his grandmothers Lilly Overby of Anderson and Dorothy Neal of Madison, IN; 2 sisters Jennifer (Travis) Collier of Mooresville, NC and Melissa Frazier of Rockville, IN; brother Kyle Overby of Anderson; 8 nieces and nephews Taylor Allred; Jadyn Allred and Tori Collier all of Mooresville, NC; Kaylyn Overby; David Keil; Breanna Keil; Devin Keil and Kelsey Frazier all of Greencastle, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Dory Neal and Jim Overby; great grandparents Jenny & Carl Smith and Uva and Paul Overby.
Services will be on Tuesday, May 15 at 1:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Mike Whiteman officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 12 PM until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Cancer Center at Community Hospital.
