ANDERSON, Ind. — Sandra K. (Retherford) Vice, 58, of Anderson died May 20, 2012, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was a loving mother and a dear friend to many. Her love was never-ending.
She was born March 12, 1954, in Elwood, to Donald and Gladys (Giselbach) Retherford. She was a CNA for 20 years.
Survivors include two sons, Jon L. Vice of Anderson and Shannon (Laura) Vice of Pendleton; her daughter, Jennifer J. Johnson of Middletown; her granddaughter, Marissa Johnson; and one expected granddaughter. She provided loving care and support to many members of the Davidson family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her late former husband, John L. Vice, who died Dec. 13, 2001.
Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Pendleton Christian Church, 1170 Old Indiana 9 South, Pendleton. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Jim Blackwell officiating.
