Carlos Edward "Carl" Hartman, age 65 of Anderson went to be with the Lord May 23, 2012 at his residence.
He was born August 9, 1946 in Anderson.
He was a carpenter at Saint John's Health System for 31 years before retiring in December of 2011.
He was a member of New Hope Christian Church in Anderson. He loved model trains and antique and classic cars.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 44 years Linda (Howard) Hartman of Anderson whom he married in Palestine, IN July 9, 1967; his mother and father Delsie (England) and Floyd Schimmel; his daughter Melissa Ray and his son Jeffrey (Tammi) Hartman; grandchildren Philip Ray, Jr.; Sarah Ray, Nathaniel Ray, Anthony Hartman; Eric Hartman; 2 step grandchildren Nikki (Mitch) Berryhill and Trevor (Haley) Tiernan;5 step great grandchildren; his brother Bob (Judy) Hartman; his father-in-law: Wade (Dee) Howard; his mother-in-law Mildred Howard; his sisters-in-law: Barbara (Kevin) Eubanks; Pam (Dan) Chandler; April (John) Hiday and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. John Hannum officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery .
The visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to New Hope Christian Church or Saint John's Foundation.
