Aline (Thomas) Fair
March 27, 1921 to June 7, 2012
Aline (Thomas) Fair, 91, surrounded by her family, peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 7, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Born March 27, 1921 to M.W. & Mary Thomas in Muskogee, OK. Aline grew up in Muskogee, OK.
She married Denton Fair on August 30, 1938 in Muskogee, OK and together they shared sixty-eight years of marriage.
In January, 1972, Aline and Denton moved to Anderson, IN, where Denton took a position a position as Controller of the Foreign Missionary Board of the Church of God. This was an assignment of 8 1/2 years. Other assignments included Church Pastoral leadership and Development work at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana.
Aline once stated, "God has been so good to us and proven faithful for all of our sixty eight years together. He has given us many wonderful chapters together and we bless His Holy Name!"
Aline was preceded in death by her husband; brother Orville Thomas and sister Eve Hammond.
She is survived by her son Phil M. Fair and his wife Betty; grandchildren Kelly Fair & wife Suze; Lori (Fair) Layugan & husband Tony; great grandchildren Benjamin Fair; Katharine Fair and Mackenzie Fair.
Aline was a marvelous homemaker, loving wife, mother sister and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her genuine love for others and willingness to share the love of Jesus to every person with whom she came in contact.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. A visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:30 P.M. Burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery.
