Dale L. Whitlow, 90 of Anderson died at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield, June 8, 2012 following an extended illness.
He was born November 15, 1921 in Anderson, IN to Otis P. and Cora (Clemons) Whitlow.
He retired from production at Delco Remy Division of GM after 45 years of service.
He served in the US Army during WW II.
He was a member Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening, horseshoes and loved his family time.
He is survived by daughters Francine (David) Bruner and Marianne Whitlow of Anderson; grandchildren Jennifer (Brandon) Krebs of Pendleton, Donna (D.J.) Montgomery of Denver, CO; Kim (Larry) Gregurash of Anderson; great grandchildren Gannon Krebs of Pendleton; Millicent Boemper and Eli Montgomery of Denver, CO; Zachary Stephenson and Drew Daffron of Anderson; Lindsay Flowers and Justin Flowers of Gilbert, AZ; great great grandson Landon Arch of Gilbert, AZ.
He was preceded in death by wife Joan Whitlow; mother Cora Whitlow; father Otis P. Whitlow; granddaughter Lora Flowers, Sisters Lela Dickerson; Beulah May; Malena Staggs and his brother Bruce Whitlow.
Services will be Monday, June 11 at 1:30 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 266 Honor Guard.
Visitation will be Monday from 11:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
