Harold E. "Gene" Richardson
August 16, 1924 to July 11, 2012

Harold E. "Gene" Richardson, age 87, of Anderson, died July 11, 2012, at Community Hospital after a sudden illness.

Gene was born August 16, 1924, in Alexandria, IN, to Charles D. and Mary Helen (Tulowitzky) Richardson.

He served in the US Navy on the USS Edgecomb during WW II.

He owned and operated Richardson Service, Inc. manufacturing insulation machinery from 1960 to 1974 in Muncie.

He obtained his pilot's license in retirement and enjoyed flying and motorcycle riding. While residing in Florida, he enjoyed a career in professional modeling.

He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Cook of Kissimmee, FL; his special friend Bernice Morgan; close friend and cousin, Ralph Patterson, of Alexandria and Clyde Tulowitzky, of Alexandria.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Martha Belle (Elsea) Richardson (died June 18, 2005), his sister Catherine Richardson and his brother Charles Richardson.

Services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 11:00 A.M., at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Matt Manning officiating.

Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.

The visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Paramount Theatre Foundation.
