Hildreth Allen Ooten, 79, of Anderson died at his residence after a brief illness on July 22, 2012.
Hildreth was born January 8,1933 in Burkesville, Kentucky to Joe and Lula (Paige) Ooten.
He worked in the maintenance and custodial area of the City of Anderson for 20 + years before retiring in 1997.
MEMBERSHIPS: 5th Street United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his 2 daughters: Rita Hubbard and Lisa (Stephen) Garrison, his brother Leon (Jan) Ooten all of Anderson; 3 grandchildren Brittany, Marina and A.J. Garrison, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa (Richwine) Ooten, his parents, his son Ronald Ooten and 3 brothers Payton, Clayton and Eugene Ooten.
Friends are invited to speak at his memorial service which will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Fifth Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Daniel Helm officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Fifth Street United Methodist Church.
