Norman A. Whitney (73) of Waubay, South Dakota formerly of Brockton and Hanson died Aug. 29th in the Bethesda Nursing Home.
Norman was born in Boston Son of the late Norman and Ernestine (Perkins) Whitney. He was an expert auto mechanic, owning Whitney's Garage in Brockton for many years. Norman had a very faithful following working on many specialty cars. He played shuffleboard on the Mallard Cafe League and enjoyed visiting with his friends at the various social clubs in Brockton.
Survivors include his Son David A. Whitney of Taunton, 2 Daughters Jeanne McDaniel and Husband John of Charleston, S. Carolina and Lisa Nugent of Ft. Davis Texas, 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, his Sister Helen Sickinger of Florida and 7 nieces.
Following Cremation a Celebration of Norman's life will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, Oct 7th from 2-4 pm.
